PARKi QR

The PARKi Licence Plate Recognition (LPR) solution implemented at off-street car parks ensures a fast and frictionless user experience for both casual patrons and PARKi App subscribers.


PARKi can future proof and easily manage and service our clients’ changing needs, including a frictionless parking solution, using QR Codes placed on signage for casual parking payments in conjunction with our PARKi app, for subscribers.


The PARKi app shows motorists clear and real time parking guidance, payment and maps, allowing users to pre-plan their journey.

Parking Process

  LPR offers convenient and controlled entry and exit of car parks for both casual parkers and PARKi app subscribers. 


On Entry, the boom gate will be raised automatically and their license plate details stored in the parking management software.  


Casual parkers then scan the nearest QR code placed on signage through out the carpark. They are taken to a web based payment portal and asked to confirm their licence plate number and credit card details. 


PARKi subscribers have their account matched (on a white listed data base) with their licence plate number and are notified of a parking session opening. 


On Exit: Casual parkers who have paid via the QR code portal will once again have the boom gate raised for them automatically. 

 

  • Casual parkers who have not paid are offered fiction-less parking by presenting their credit card to the APS or Exit Station to process payment for their parking session with the option to print a tax receipt.
  • PARKi subscribers simple drive to the exit and the boom gate opens automatically and are notified of a their parking session closing.

 

Outcomes

The only hardware required is the LPR on entry and exit, boom gates and one exit station for late payments, plus static signage showing the zone number QR codes as illustrated. 

This solution is one of the most efficient and cost effective paid parking systems available.

Dynamic Signage 
As all vehicles are counted on the way in and out, the data can be sent to dynamic signage that can be installed within the carpark or on the street outside the carpark notifying customers of available spaces. 

PARKi app benefits 
The occupancy data can also be sent to the PARKi App, so that customers can be notified of available spaces before arriving at the carpark. 

Returning customers can make their parking experience even better by using the app so that there is no need to go through the QR Code process. 

Health Protocols
